Police in Northern Ireland on Wednesday freed five people held for questioning over the killing of three security personnel, after a court ruling seen as a challenge to tough anti-terrorism laws. High Court Lord Chief Justice Brian Kerr quashed an order by a lower court that gave police more time to question six people about the fatal shooting of two British soldiers on March 7 and the killing of a police officer two days later.
