Two British soldiers killed in Afghan assault Two British soldiers were killed this weekend during a major assault on a Taliban stronghold in southern Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence in London said. One soldier died as a result of a rocket-propelled grenade attack, while the other was killed by an explosion during Operation Panther's Claw near Gereshk, in central Helmand province, it said in a statement. The deaths took the number of British service personnel to have died in Afghanistan since the US-led invasion in 2001 to 173. (Cammy).... Sad to say, but this will not be the last. It's going to be a long and bloody war. My condolences go out to their families. Our flag at the Cenotaph will once again, be flying at half mast. Rest in Piece What's also sad is that information like this does not just appear on the likes of Sky News. It has to be searched for through several sites. Coming in way past 'Madonna paid tribute to Jackson' & 'Harry Potter star gets swine flu'

(Cammy).... What's also sad is that information like this does not just appear on the likes of Sky News. It has to be searched for through several sites. Coming in way past 'Madonna paid tribute to Jackson' & 'Harry Potter star gets swine flu' This annoys the sh*& out of me too. I recently emailed my feelings to the Sky News Newsdesk.

As did i Ed..I aired my feelings on the MOD & Partiment sites. Makes me feel sick that those with money, come before those who risk their lives to afford others a better one...
