1. Introduction. The Liverpool Branch of the Regimental Association is to hold a Dedication Service at Liverpool Anglican Cathedral on Sat 4th July 2009 for the new Branch Standard. The target audience for the event are Officers and soldiers of A Coy, The 4tth Battalion,The Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, key members of the civic community, Association Members and old comrades.
2. Aim. The aim of the event is facilitate the dedication service of the new Liverpool Association Branch Standard.
3. Plan. The event is very simple in design and is to be conducted in three distinct phases. The first being the reception and hosting of guests in the West wing of the Anglican Cathedral. The second phase is the dedication service. The third phase is the post event reception at Townsend Ave. A full brief on the running of the event will be given to hosts on Sat 4 th July.
Time Event
1300Hrs Admin party arrive and commence set up.
1330Hrs Hosts assemble in West wing of the Cathedral
NLT 14.00 Hrs Briefing to Hosts
1415-1445 Hrs VIP Guests arrive
1430HRS Band play whilst congregation is seated
1450HRS VIP Guests ushering to seating area
1500HRS Congregation seated Service commences
1600HRS Service ends
1600HRS Band play during dispersal of congregation
1610HRS Carriages
1630HRS Post event reception at Townsend Ave
All Association Members and Ex Kingsmen are most welcome to attend the service and the reception at Townsend
