The families of those killed in the Omagh bombing have won more than £1.6m in damages in a civil action after a judge found four men liable for the attack. Real IRA leader Michael McKevitt and three other men - Liam Campbell, Colm Murphy and Seamus Daly - were found to be responsible for the atrocity. Mr Justice Morgan also ruled that the Real IRA as an organsation was liable. Full Story >>

An excellent judgement - it doesn't bring justice but it is as close as the families are going to get, unfortunately. The judge's judgement will make interesting reading. McKevitt will have to sell his pub in Dundalk, unless he declares himself bankrupt. Colm Murphy is Slab Murphy's brother so he should be able to tap him for the cash, unless he has to show where it came from. Campbell.....he'll be in nick in Lithuania for a while, so he can try to earn a bit while he's inside. Their hell awaits them.
