My late father - Harry Alexander Langford - was in King's Regiment's T-force from D-day and after the War posted to HQ Bad Oyenhausen until I think 1946 or 1947/8. Towards the end of the War he was involved in actions in Hamburg and went on to Kolding and Aarhus in Denmark around the time of 5th May. After the war he was attached to HQ in Bad Oyenhausen, and I believe he was involved in operations to capture German scientists to have them work for British industry. I remember he told me about some of the Peenemünde scientists. Fate had it that he met my mother in the liberation days in Aarhus and they chose to settle in Denmark in the 1950's. I would be very interested if anyone would have any memories of my father, pictures or otherwise that we could pass on the later generations.
