Anyone watching the D-Day coverage on TV in France this year isn’t going to come away thinking that their country has much to be thankful to Britain for. Or to Canada. Perhaps there should be a 'Remember the Collaborators' day in Dover or Southampton, as a sort of remembrance to all those brave but enterprising French people who gave their all to the Germans, before they gave their all to the Americans. It could also remember the actions of the Vichy French forces who helped the Germans in North Africa, to fight the...ah....oh yes, the Americans.
