The PSNI station in Lisnaskea is to get extra security amid what the police describe as a "serious dissident threat" in County Fermanagh. A planning application has been submitted to increase the steel fencing around the station by 2.5 metres. A police spokesperson said that "the security of all stations is continually under review". He also said the police had "said quite clearly there is a serious dissident threat in that part of Fermanagh." More >>That brings back bad memories

Ironic this is really - they've spent the last five years and two fortunes, turning most of the stations into something from the cover of 'House and Garden' or the 'Tatler'. Back to concrete and 'wriggly tin'........
