A British Army soldier has survived a shot from a Taliban sniper which went through his combat helmet, straight through the forehead pad and out the other side, missing his head by millimetres. Private Leon 'Willy' Wilson, 32, a Territorial Army soldier from Manchester, is currently deployed to Afghanistan on attachment to 2nd Battalion the Mercian Regiment (2 MERCIAN). Full Story - MoD >>
