Bit of a long shot...looking for a Steven Owens...the wifes cousin...she says he was in the Kings and got out aprox 25 years ago...He was from the Anfield Area of Liverpool but since he has left the Kings no one has heard from him....Someone said that when he left the Army he moved up around the lake District area.....If he was in the Kings then i am sure that our paths would have crossed as i have been out 15 years after serving 14 years myself, she thinks he would be about 55 now.

steve was company clerk in "A" coy in early 70's also a talented artist, don't know where he ended up

I do remember the Company clerk in the early seventies, I can see his face but the name just doesn't ring a bell. I'm not saying it's wrong because I'm a bugger for names. Much better with faces.

steve was company clerk in "A" coy in early 70's also a talented artist, don't know where he ended up Your right Jim, he was a talented artist. He used to draw cartoons for the Regimental magazine. No idea were he ended up either Frank

i learned today that steve owens was killed in a road traffic accident about 5 years ago on a roundabout in or near formby he was riding a motor bike and was hit head on i believe he did not suffer will remember him always alf blodwell
