hi everyone, i joined 5 kings in 62 , which later became 5/8king,s served until 82, going through the rank,s to WO,2. met and served with great men, to name a few, RSM.Jimmy brown. tony hollinsworth now Lt Col Ret, richie shelton, mick mooney ex scots gaurds, tony dooley, barry cashen, paddy lambert, to anyone not mentioned you all remain in my memory as great freinds and comrades, i now live in southport, semi retired, enjoying my grandchildrens company, and playing lots and lots and lots of GOLF, off 12, although i never served in the regular bn, i still feel that belonging to a fabulous regimental family. some of the men i served with are no longer with us unfotrtunately, but you never lose that bond, had a heart problem 4 years ago , but have moved on, and enjoying life, "Nec Aspera Terrent" kenny
