Morning all, I am ex RCT and ex RAF. "what the hell does that have to do with the Kingos site" i here you say ? I was at Aldergrove during OP Banner and for me and others, it was a very sad day when we saw a Herc at one end of Aldergrove and the Kingos were placing their fallen brothers in arms on board for the flight to Liverpool. 5 very brave lads were taken from your regiment and still to this day it makes me sad. I remember getting of my car near where the Herc was and paying my respects to them. May they rest in peace and their names liveth for ever more !

You thoughts are much appreciated. I was a CVO for one of the soldiers, Vinnie Scott, and received the five Kingsmen in Liverpool that day. They are remembered on the last Saturday in October each year at a ceremony in Liverpool.
