An independent report into the crash of an RAF Nimrod surveillance aircraft in Afghanistan which killed 14 people says it was preventable. Its findings were revealed to the families of those killed before being made public. The 37-year-old Nimrod XV230 exploded in the skies above Afghanistan on 2nd September 2006 shortly after an air-to-air refuel. All 14 people on board were killed. It was the single biggest loss of life for the RAF since the Second World War. Report They died to save a few pennies for the Government. Disgusting! Attachments:
