Thanks to all for a great day out today, I think we did the lads proud. The turnout exceeded expectations and it was great to get to see everyone later for a glass of shandy I left my camera at home but I did get some pics with my phone so if anybody out there has good pics of the day, especially of the parade, please send them in to me. Use the email link on the main page - bottom left of screen. I will get a complete album of the day up as soon as I get enough pictures in. Thanks lads - and ladies!

Alright Eddie Nice to see you again, I would like to thank all who turned up for the V2 Memorial. Hope the day will not be forgotten turnout was something else, the lad who took the parade was Tony Canavan ex Drums.

Cheers John, it was a great day. Kingo's should feel proud of the turnout at the ceremony and a special thanks for IKRA as a whole for a wonderful memorial stone. It's a real pity Gary was in dock, I was looking forward to seeing him again. One good moment was when I caught out of the corner of my eye some civvies applauding as we marched. A bit late I know, but perhaps some of them will go away and look into the history of the conflict because of what they saw on the 24th October 2009 at St Johns Gardens. Take care now.
