that's right josh , joe armstrong and me drove the stalwarts, nice cushy job. I remember you ok , wonder what happened to the likes of tony hing, a right nutter wasn't he, in fact the most of the company were nutters weren't they? in the nicest possible way of course. oops just remembered at bert brabbins funeral 3 years ago lots of kingos in the church and we did sing the kings are coming up the hill clean version

Alf, I didn't know Bert had gone. He was a good mate. I used to see him around Liverpool back in the 80's, usually when he was weighing in some scrap on the dock road.
