Royal Marine Michael Laski laid to rest by family and friends. A LIVERPOOL commando who told his comrades Scousers are the elite of the world was laid to rest yesterday.Royal Marine Michael Mick Laski, 21, of Croxteth Park, was mortally wounded fighting in Afghanistan and died on his return to the UK. The service was relayed to mourners outside the church as it quickly filled to capacity. Video Pictures in Liverpool Echo

A sad lost to his dad & brother, his mum passed away last year both me & Tony Tomo work with his dad Rest in Peace Royal Marine Michael Laski,

Liverpool is a 'small town' despite its size. St. Mary's is still my family church, even though we now live in Chesire. I was married there and my kids were christened there. Watching the video on the Echo's site was very moving with knowing it so well.

Went to Anfield crem met Roy Mitchell there.....never seen so many people there...the marines did him proud.
